Our family has decided to travel across the U.S. with our wonderful 11 year old son (who is homeschooled) as a way to help him appreciate the history behind our great nation. He will be writing many of the posts as well as taking the photos as a way to learn about not only history but also technology. We are excited to be sharing our journey with all of you! For those of you who don't know, there is a great show on the History channel called American Pickers: http://www.history.com/shows/american-pickers

and we love to watch it. So since there's not much else to see in IA we decided to stop by. It made Mason's day!
